ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old in the exclusion zone at the intersection of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Oak Avenue. Officers knew the man was excluded from the area. He was taken into custody without incident.

The man was allegedly found to have a violation amount of methamphetamine in his pocket. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and was detained without bail. The man was cited for the drug charge.
