In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Riverbend Live! features gritty soul-blues singer Cris Jacobs Friday night.

Named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know”, Jacobs has collaborated with Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead and earned opening slots on tours with Sturgill Simpson and Steve Winwood.

The series takes place at Winston’s Riverbend Park. Food vendors will be on site, including Lookingglass Brewery. Attendees can also bring their own meal, along with wine or beer. Tobacco use and dogs are not allowed at the venue. Riverbend Live! shows continue Friday nights through August 2nd.
