Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 7:15 p.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old after a caller said the suspect had stolen an alcoholic beverage from a business in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The woman admitted to taking the beverage and was taken into custody without incident.

She was charged with third-degree theft. The woman was detained without bail.
