Two people were taken to the hospital following a Friday afternoon wreck.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:00 p.m. a 21-year-old was driving north on Garden Valley Road and attempted to turn west onto Curry Road. The driver did not see a vehicle that was southbound on Garden Valley and his sedan collided with it. The car that was hit veered into the parking lot of a business at the intersection, striking a parked van.

The two drivers impacted were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for suspected minor injuries. The driver that caused the accident was cited. The first two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
