ROSEBURG MAN HURT IN BICYCLE VERSUS SEDAN ACCIDENT

A Roseburg man was hurt in a bicycle versus sedan accident on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 7:00 p.m. officers responded to the crash near the intersection of Southeast Mosher Avenue and Southeast Jackson Street. During the investigation, it was determined that the 19-year-old man was riding his bike on Southeast Jackson Street and did not stop before entering the intersection.

His bike t-boned the sedan, causing the rider to flip over the car and smash the windshield. He was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for numerous injuries. He is listed in stable condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson. The cyclist was cited for failure to yield to a vehicle.
