The Department of State Lands is hosting a series of online and in-person listening sessions for residents to learn more and share feedback on the draft Forest Management Plan for the Elliot State Research Forest.

A release from the DSL said the listening sessions are being held during the 45-day comment period on the draft plan, which is available to review through July 28th. Email comments can be submitted to: elliottproject.dsl@oregon.gov

*A hybrid session will be held in Salem on July 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants can join online or in person at the Land Board Room at the DSL Office in Salem.

*An in-person session will be held in Coos Bay on July 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Myrtlewood Room of the Coos Bay Public Library.

Virtual sessions will be held on July 18th from 12:00 p.m.to 1:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
