The Roseburg School District resumes offering free meals to children at Lunchbox Express sites and school cafeterias next week.
Meals are available to all children and youth ages 1 to 18. Children and youth must be present to participate and pick up a meal.
Lunchbox Express service continues weekdays through August 16th. Breakfast and lunch will be a combined grab-n-go meal and it does not need to be consumed on site.
*Sunnyslope Elementary from 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
*Thompson Park from 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
*Eastside Park from 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.
*Creekside Family Church from 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
*Saddle Butte Mobile Manor from 1:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
*Faith Lutheran Church from 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
These elementary school cafeterias will have meals weekdays through August 1st from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Breakfast must be consumed on site, while lunch can be to go, or consumed on site: Fullerton IV, Green, Melrose, Fir Grove, and Winchester.
The Roseburg High School cafeteria will have meals weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Breakfasts and lunches can be taken to go or consumed on site.
The summer food program is a part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs.
