ROSEBURG POLICE CITE WOMAN FOR PRIOR HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

Roseburg Police cited a woman Tuesday for a prior hit and run incident.

An RPD report said a victim contacted officers on June 29th and said her vehicle had been involved in a hit and run in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway.  A witness saw the incident take place and photographed the suspect’s vehicle as it left the parking lot.

Officers contacted the suspect on Tuesday. The 41-year-old from Myrtle Creek claimed her insulin pump failed prior to the accident and she had no recollection of it. She was cited for hit and run-misdemeanor and was released without incident.
