ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ALLEGED BURGLARY

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged burglary on Friday night.

An RPD report said just after 8:15 p.m. officers contacted a victim at her residence in the 800 block of West Esperanza Court after a neighbor said that someone had attempted to break into the home. When contacted the resident began to scream that someone else was inside the house.

Officers entered the residence and located a 32-year-old woman inside a bathroom. That woman admitted to breaking into the residence and stealing multiple items from within. She was taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree theft. The suspect was detained without bail.
