ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged disorderly conduct incident Friday morning.

An RPD report said at 6:45 a.m. a victim said a 35-year-old man was blocking traffic at the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and Northwest Stewart Parkway. When he was asked to move, the suspect allegedly threw a punch at the victim through an open window then began throwing rocks at him as the victim followed the suspect west on Harvard Avenue in his vehicle.

The suspect reportedly initially refused to stop for police but was located a short distance away near West Agee Street. The man appeared to be having a mental health episode and was acting completely out of control and delusional according to police.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
