The final Movies in the Park program for the year is happening Friday night.

Presented by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and Rogue Credit Union, it is held at Nichol’s Band Shell in Stewart Park.

Pre-movie entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m. as Umpqua Actors Community Theatre performs part of its summer musical, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. The 2023 PG rated movie “Wonka” will start at dusk.

Vendors will have popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks on sale. A face painter is on site as well.

Kids under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The Roseburg park’s system is tobacco free. Alcohol is not allowed at the event and pets are not permitted.
