In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Valley Arts presents the 55th annual Summer Arts Festival this Friday through Sunday at its facility on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.
The event includes over 100 local and regional artists offering handcrafted works in all media. Local young artist vendors will sell their work at the Emerging Artists Vendor tent. Fun-filled family art activities and STEAM experiences will take place in the Youth Zone.
There will be non-stop music, dance and entertainment on two different stages. A food court will feature regional food and beverage vendors.
Festival hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person or $15 for an immediate family. Youth under age 8 are admitted for free.
