Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:10 p.m. the 43-year-old was contacted at his camp in Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Stewart Park Drive. The man had tarps attached to the trees, the camp exceeded the 10 feet by 10 feet allotted size limit, it was set up in a restricted area, and was set up after 8:00 a.m.

The man has been cited numerous times in the area and was aware of the camping ordinance. He was released after being given another citation.
