Winston Police jailed a man for alleged shoplifting on Saturday.

A WPD report said at about 12:30 p.m. the 55-year-old was called in as a shoplifter at a business on Southeast Main Street. After an investigation, he was charged with two counts of third-degree theft. Bail was set at $2,500.
