Roseburg Police jailed a man Friday for an alleged prior burglary incident.
An RPD report said on June 20th, 62-year-old Jay Baker allegedly entered a victim’s home in the 1400 block of Southeast Main Street and stole her car keys out of her purse. He then reportedly stole her vehicle, which was recovered later that day at Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street.
Baker was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for 3 felony probation violations. He was detained without bail.
