Monday, 4th District U.S. Representative Val Hoyle released a statement on the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Hoyle said, “This anniversary serves as a reminder that the fight for reproductive equality is far from over”. Hoyle said, “Anti-choice extremists are still working to take away reproductive freedoms, and we cannot stand by as these attacks continue. We must pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to establish abortion care as a guaranteed right for every woman in America”
Hoyle concluded by saying, “Women’s health care decisions should be left to her and her doctors – not politicians or judges”.
