Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident at a store on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded to Fred Meyer in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after employees said a man physically assaulted an employee after refusing to leave. Officers learned that a loss prevention staff member tried to get a 37-year-old man to leave. The suspect allegedly kicked the employee in the leg. The man was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with harassment and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $3,750.
