A juvenile was taken to the hospital after a side-by-side wreck early Wednesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at approximately 1:20 a.m. an adult witness said the 14-year-old was riding the side-by-side with him when they crashed on Canyon Creek Road in the Canyonville area.

Deputies were ultimately able contact the parties at a residence in the 300 block of North Main Street. The juvenile had a laceration to his head that was bleeding and some other minor injuries. He was ultimately transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center.
