In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Actors Community Theatre wraps up its production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this weekend.

It is directed by Ashley Chitwood and focuses on Dr Jekyll, a well-respected London physician who struggles to control his horrific and fiendish evil side named Mr. Edward Hyde. It is the demon he created from a serum concocted in his laboratory.

Showtimes are Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $17 per person. They can be purchased by calling 673-2125, at the door or at www.uact-theatre.com.

The production is recommended for audiences age 15 and older, due to adult situations.
