Roseburg Police dealt with a unique situation on Monday afternoon.

Around 4:00 p.m. a towing company was taking an abandoned motorhome to the landfill, due to city ordinance, and was in the 400 block of Northeast Jackson Street when the motorhome’s septic tank fell out the bottom of the vehicle. This sent the contents of the septic tank onto the street.

Officers contacted the Roseburg Fire Department, which dealt with the hazmat situation.
