The fire danger level on Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest District-protected lands in Josephine and Jackson counties will increase to “moderate” on Thursday,

Public Information Officer Natalie Weber said this will impact 1.8 million acres of state, private, county, city and Bureau of Land Management lands. A number of public fire restrictions will take effect.
