Winston Police jailed a man on the charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving on Thursday night.

A WPD report said at 5:30 p.m. officers were dispatched after a vehicle hit two garbage cans in the 100 block of Parkinson Court and then was driven to the 200 block of Northwest Glenhart Avenue and parked on the lawn of an apartment complex.

After an investigation, the 38-year-old was arrested and taken into custody. He was released on Friday.
