Roseburg Police arrested a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 9:10 p.m. officers contacted a 29-year-old man at Walmart in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. An employee said the suspect reportedly made threats to commit armed robbery and be an active shooter. The employee said the suspect told them he was armed and pointed to his full backpack which was where he said the “weapon” was.  The employee said the man claimed he was making the comments because he felt like Walmart made him a target and he was going to make it “worth it”.

The report said the suspect was found to be in possession of three knives, with two of them in his backpack. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and for menacing. Bail was set at $8,750.
