ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER REPORTED DOWNTOWN FIGHT

Roseburg Police jailed a man after a reported fight in downtown Tuesday night.

An RPD report said shortly after 6:30 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Southeast Cass Avenue and Southeast Jackson Street for the incident allegedly involving ten people.

During the investigation, it was determined that a 41-year-old man had kicked a car door, causing damage before allegedly attempting to fight numerous people. He was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $8,750.
