ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR THIRD-DEGREE THEFT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for third-degree theft after an incident at a store on Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers responded to the 2100 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. A 49-year-old man had allegedly eaten and drank several food items inside the business and refused to leave when employees told him to.

He was detained without issue and transported to corrections. He was also charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $2,500.
