ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at approximately 4:15 p.m. officers responded to the corner of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Rose Street after a caller said an intoxicated man was trying to get on a bus.

Officers contacted the 67-year-old and learned he is a city expulsion violator, so is barred from being in the downtown area. He was charged with second-degree trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
