Roseburg Police cited a man for littering near waters on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 11:45 a.m. the 54-year-old was contacted at his camp in the 3,000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. His camp was located near Newton Creek and consisted of trash strewn in an approximate 20 by 20-foot area. Due to medical issues, officers were unable to take him to jail. He was cited for depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway and was released on the scene.
