The Umpqua Valley is slated to experience more above normal high temperatures through Thursday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 84 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on both Sunday and Saturday. That followed Friday’s 91-degrees, which tied for being the hottest day of the year so far.
Roseburg is expecting highs in the mid 80’s on Monday and Tuesday before dropping to the upper 70s on Wednesday. Thursday should be just above 80 degrees. Beginning Friday, Roseburg should see highs in the mid-70s for several days. That is right in line with the seasonal average high temperature for this point in June.
