Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public early Friday morning.

An RPD report said shortly after 2:30 a.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old after he was called in for refusing to leave a store in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man was reportedly drinking a beer when officers arrived.

He agreed to leave the business and his beer was disposed of. The man was released after his citation was issued.
