Roseburg Police jailed a man on robbery and other charges following an incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 6:30 p.m. 30-year-old Gavin Gangle left CHI Mercy Medical Center and allegedly began looking into vehicles in the parking lot of Sherm’s Thunderbird Market in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Gangle was reportedly completely nude when he attempted to pull a man out of a sedan. A fight allegedly ensued inside the car. Multiple people pulled Gangle away from the vehicle before he walked to the nearby WinCo Foods store and allegedly tried to enter another vehicle.

Gangle was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, attempting to commit a class C felony, third-degree robbery, second-degree disorderly conduct, and harassment. Gangle was detained without bail.
