ROSEBURG POLICE CITE TWO FOR DUII THURSDAY NIGHT

Roseburg Police cited two people for DUII in incidents Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 10:30 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 200 block of Southeast Stephens Street and learned the driver was intoxicated. The 43-year-old agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests. She reportedly performed poorly. She was taken into custody for DUII and transported to corrections where she was cited and released after providing a breath sample.

Just before 11:15 p.m. officers contacted a 63-year-old woman during a traffic stop for speeding in the 2600 block of West Harvard Avenue. During the contact, officers observed signs of impairment. The woman agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. She was taken to corrections where she was cited and released after providing a breath sample.
