Friday will see another day of hot weather in the Umpqua Valley with high temperatures as much as 15 degrees above normal.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury should reach just above 90 degrees in Roseburg. That compares with a seasonal average of the mid-70s for early June. A high of 91 degrees would equal the two hottest days of 2024 so far – those were on May 10th and 11th.
Friday should be the warmest day for the foreseeable future. Highs will drop to the low to mid-80s Saturday through Tuesday. By Wednesday, temperatures will lower to the mid-70s.
The high Thursday was 87 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
