Maintenance crews with the Oregon Department of Transportation are grinding and paving areas on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard in Roseburg, where there are wheel ruts in the roadway.

Dan Latham of ODOT said work is taking place from Northeast Stephens Street to just past Phoenix Charter School. Latham said work is mostly in the westbound direction, but some is taking place eastbound. All work is happening in the slow lane.

Project hours are nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and work should wrap up on Friday morning. Drivers should watch for workers and equipment in the area.
