Movies in the Park returns to Stewart Park in Roseburg later this week for its 14th season.
A City release said every Friday night in June, fun family friendly entertainment is offered at the Nichols Band Shell starting at 7:30 p.m.
Cosponsored by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and Rogue Credit Union, the series includes pre-movie entertainment, followed by a movie on the big screen. Vendor booths will have popcorn, candy and drinks, along with cotton candy. A face painting booth will be set up as well.
This week Stefano Iaboni will perform an interactive comedy and magic show. Roseburg Public Library will offer free books for kids, summer reading logs and take-home craft kits. The 2023 PG rated movie “Wish” will be shown starting at approximately 9:00 p.m.
Roseburg Parks are 100 percent tobacco free, and no alcohol is allowed in the park.
