Winston Police jailed a man who was found in a stolen vehicle on Monday morning.

A WPD report said at 9:00 a.m. 29-year-old Manuel Sanchez-Chavez was stopped by officers in the 300 block of Northwest Glenhart Avenue in a vehicle that was reported stolen out of the Salem area. Sanchez-Chavez was taken into custody and was allegedly found with about a half ounce of methamphetamine in his possession.

He was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, unlawful possession of meth and a warrant out of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Sanchez-Chavez was detained without bail.
