Roseburg Police cited three people for prohibited camping on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:00 p.m. their camps were found set up under the Jackson Street Bridge over Deer Creek. The camps violated the place portion of the camping ordinance because they were set up within 100 feet of a waterway. The camps violated the time portion of the ordinance because they were set up after 8:00 a.m.

All three people were released after their citations were issued.
