Winston Police jailed a woman for an alleged assault incident on Sunday.

A WPD report said at about 5:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Lookingglass Road regarding a disturbance involving a knife. The victim was cut in the arm by the knife and was treated at CHI Mercy Medical Center where he received stitches.

The 21-year-old was charged with second-degree assault. She was detained without bail.
