Local firefighters will have the annual Fill the Boot Drive this Friday.

The International Association of Fire Fighters has collected funds in the community since 1954, as part of the program for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Roseburg Fire Department and Douglas County Fire District #2 will continue the long-standing tradition when they hit the streets with boots in hand asking pedestrians, motorists, customers and other passersby to donate to MDA Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Washington Avenue in downtown Roseburg.
