A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged DUII/resisting arrest incident Saturday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 7:20 p.m. a deputy stopped an SUV in the 200 block of Northeast Stephens Street in Roseburg after observing several violations consistent with impairment. 62-year-old Jim Lee Wilson was reportedly uncooperative and visibly intoxicated. He was forcibly removed from his vehicle and allegedly continued to resist throughout the incident and the booking process.
A search warrant for his blood was granted and later served at CHI Mercy Medical Center. Wilson was charged with resisting arrest, recklessly endangering another person and for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was detained without bail.
