UMPQUA WATERSHEDS 28TH ANNUAL BANQUET THIS SUNDAY

Umpqua Watersheds, a local non-profit conservation and environmental organization, will hold its 28th annual banquet this Sunday June 2nd from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The event will be in the Umpqua Outback, behind 539 Southeast Main Street in downtown Roseburg.

The speaker will be Bird Alliance of Oregon Sanctuary Manager/Conservationist Paul Engelmeyer. His presentation will be on “Beavers and Water: Issues and Conservation Strategies”.

A social hour will start at 3:00 p.m. with dinner served at 4:30 p.m.  Festive Catering will provide a Mexican themed meal and appetizers. Vegan options are also available. A no-host bar will feature local wine, beer and cider along with several non-alcoholic options.
