A Roseburg woman was cited Wednesday by Roseburg Police on the charge of third-degree theft for an alleged past incident.

An RPD report said the 27-year-old had been identified as the suspect of a theft from a store in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street, which took place on Monday. An officer saw the woman walking in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street at 11:00 a.m. and contacted her about the incident. She denied any involvement, but video footage reportedly showed her stealing the items.

The woman was released after the citation was issued.
