Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged assault incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just before 3:00 p.m. officers performed a welfare check on a victim in the 900 block of Northeast Lincoln Street following a disturbance that allegedly occurred earlier in the day.

An investigation into the matter revealed that the 33-year-old reportedly threw a water bottle at the victim’s face, causing her eyes to swell shut. The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault. Bail was set at $4,000. She was released on Wednesday.
