The Sutherlin Stampede Association is back with a new board of directors and a renewed commitment to bringing rodeo excitement back to Sutherlin and Douglas County.

A release said the first step in this revival is a partnership with the Coastal Challenge of Champions Tour. The revival will kick off with a sanctioned bull ride event on July 13th at the Sutherlin Rodeo Grounds.

To share more details and answer any questions, a town hall meeting will be held on Monday June 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at the Sutherlin Community Center, located in Central Park. It will be an opportunity to connect with residents and discuss the plans the association has.

The SSA is seeking community members and local businesses to help bring the legendary event back to life. Advance tickets will soon be available for $15.Tickets at the gate will cost $20.
