Roseburg Police cited four people for prohibited camping on Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 4;10 p.m. the group was contacted where they were camped in areas within 100 feet of the South Umpqua River, which is prohibited in the time, place, and manner ordinance.

The group of men ranged in age from 33 to 59. Their camps were also set up outside the time portion of the ordinance. All were cited and released on scene.
