Roseburg Police cited two people on Wednesday for littering.

An RPD report said at 9:10 a.m. a 40-year-old man was contacted in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The man was camping on the bike path between the park and Deer Creek Park. His camp allegedly had an excessive amount of trash and other debris covering the area in all directions.

Just before 9:40 a.m. officers contacted a 55-year-old man, also in Gaddis Park. The man was inside a structure that was bigger than 10 feet by 10 feet, violating the manner restriction. He was also in violation of the time restriction. The man had a second tent nearby along with an excessive amount of trash and debris that he stated was his.

Both were released after being cited.
