15.40 percent, or 13,780 of Douglas County ballots have been received for the May Presidential Primary Election, as of late Thursday.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said that lags 8.24 percent behind the participation rate for the same point in the 2020 Primary Election. Loomis reminds voters:

*Friday is four days from Election Day.

*Voters who have not received a ballot should contact or visit the Clerk’s Office.

*Those taking their ballot to the post office, should ask staff to stamp their envelope with a hand cancellation stamp. A ballot with a postmark after May 21st will not be counted.

*Voters can use one of the fifteen official ballot drop sites, until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and be assured their ballot will be received and counted.
