ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR DUII EARLY THURSDAY

Roseburg Police cited a man for DUII early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 12:20 a.m. the 20-year-old from Myrtle Creek was stopped for traffic violations near the corner of Southeast Cass Avenue and Southeast Stephens Street. The man showed signs of impairment and admitted to marijuana use. He allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

The driver was transported to corrections where he provided a breath sample and a urine sample. He was released after the citation was issued.
