The Canyonville Community Library has announced that it has been awarded a $15,000 grant from Oregon Community Foundation to support the Library Program and Community Engagement Manager.

Board President Yvonne Briggs said, “These funds will help the library provide educational resources and special programming for the community”. Briggs said, “We are thankful for the generous support and excited to continue our work in the community”. The funding included support from the Olsrud Family Fund and the Keane Family Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation.

The library release said the program manager’s role is crucial. They are responsible for delivering unique and engaging programs tailored to meet the community’s needs. This includes collaborating with local schools and community partners to extend the library’s impact and accessibility.

The Canyonville Community Library is a non-profit organization established in 2017.
