DEPUTIES JAIL MAN FOR WARRANTS AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

Deputies jailed a man for warrants after a traffic stop early Tuesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 12:20 a.m. a vehicle was stopped for traffic violations on Interstate Five northbound near the Boomer Hill exit north of Myrtle Creek. 34-year-old Todd Fredricks Jr of Winston was identified as the driver.

Fredericks was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest out of Douglas and Coos counties. The warrants were confirmed, and the man was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $10,000.  Fredericks was also cited for driving while suspended-violation and driving uninsured.
