CHI Mercy Health is now accepting youth volunteers.

A Mercy release said those age 16 and over can now apply. It is an opportunity for youth to develop valuable skills, meet new people, give back to the community and build up their resume for college applications.

Support and training will be provided with flexible volunteer schedules available. Tasks include working at the information desk, as a patient escort, with the activity cart and more. The current requirement is a two-hour per-week commitment for six months.
